Moza Banco and M-Pesa have just signed an interoperability protocol, which will allow money transfers between accounts of the two institutions.
In a press release, Moza says that this service is innovative in the market because it is the only one that allows multiple transfers in a single operation.
The signing of this protocol is another step of Moza Bank towards its main objective of adding value to its customers, through services appropriate to the lives of Mozambicans.
As M-Pesa is the largest mobile wallet transaction platform in the country, Moza Banco thus brings added value to its customers, allowing them to transfer their money to several M-Pesa accounts simultaneously.
“More than providing high quality financial products and services, Moza Banco is committed to adding even more value to its customers.
For a better understanding of this partnership we signed today, imagine a customer who received his salary at Moza and wants to transfer money to the M-Pesa account of his gardener, his bricklayer, his neighbor and his son, he can now make this transfer to all the beneficiaries in a single operation.
In addition, Moza and M-Pesa clients now have the possibility, without leaving home, to make payments for essential services: online shopping, paying electricity, water and television bills, among others,” explained João Figueiredo, president of the of the Board of Directors of Moza Bank, moments after the the signing of the protocol.
