TAAG has formalized its entry as a shareholder in Menzies Aviation, giving rise to Menzies Aviation Angola, Lda., a company poised to mark a new chapter in the national aviation sector.
According to Clóvis Rosa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of TAAG, “TAAG’s entry as a shareholder in Menzies Aviation Angola strengthens the company’s long-term strategic vision, allowing us to combine the robustness and operational excellence of a global leader like Menzies with TAAG’s relevance in the national market. This is an investment in the future of aviation in Angola and a commitment to the country’s economic development.”

The shareholders also highlighted their intention to work closely with the Angolan government and other strategic partners, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition for the future of national aviation.
With a fleet covering 13 domestic and 11 international destinations, TAAG already plays a vital role in passenger mobility and cargo transport — a segment considered essential for boosting the economic ecosystem.
The creation of Menzies Aviation Angola thus represents not only a commitment to operational modernization but also a decisive step toward attracting foreign investment, raising the quality standards of airport services, and positioning Angola more competitively in international air traffic flows.
