A barrel of Brent crude, the benchmark for Angola’s exports, opened trading on Wednesday at 66.08 dollars in the international market, after closing the previous session at 65.79 dollars, with a depreciation of 1.22 dollars.
North Sea crude registered a minimum of 65.61 dollars and a maximum of 66.58 dollars in the previous session, according to the specialized website Investing.com.
The price of Brent is used to establish the trading value of this commodity on the international market.
It also serves as a benchmark for the oil industry and for OPEC’s decisions.
Angola’s 2025 General State Budget (OGE) was prepared based on a price of 70 dollars per barrel and an estimated production of 1.098 million barrels of oil per day.
