The price of Brent crude — the oil benchmark used for Angola’s exports — opened this Tuesday on the stock exchange at $69.10 per barrel, marking a 0.88% decrease compared to the previous day.
This price is slightly below the figure projected in Angola’s 2025 General State Budget (OGE), which estimates $70 per barrel.
Brent crude is a key benchmark price for oil purchases worldwide. Although it originates from the North Sea, oil production from Europe, Africa, and the Middle East tends to be priced relative to Brent.
