Católica Luanda Business School and DeltaGest Capital Forge Partnership to Boost the Capital Market

In a transforming economic landscape, the partnership represents a “strategic match” between academia and industry, placing human capital at the centre of competitiveness and focusing on promoting a new generation of business leaders with a global mindset and social responsibility. Católica Luanda Business School (CLBS) and DeltaGest Capital SGOIC recently signed an agreement marking the beginning of strategic cooperation geared towards knowledge production, innovation, and the promotion of sustainable management and investment models in the country.

Held at the CLBS headquarters, a unit of the Faculty of Economics and Management at the Catholic University of Angola (UCAN), the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) reinforces the joint commitment to good governance, transparency, institutional independence, and positive social impact.

With a duration of three years and the possibility of renewal, the MoU enters into force immediately and includes structural initiatives with a direct impact on the business sector, such as the organisation of an annual conference on venture capital funds, sustainable investment, ESG, governance, and innovation; exchanges between students, lecturers, and professionals; internship, mentoring, and practical corporate experience programmes; and active participation of DeltaGest Capital in CLBS executive initiatives.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by executives from the CLBS Board and the Board of Directors of DeltaGest Capital, with special emphasis on the signatories: Alano Sicato (Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management and Chairman of the CLBS Board) and João Santos (Chairman of the Board of Directors of DeltaGest Capital).

With this alliance, CLBS reaffirms its mission to inspire and transform business leadership in Angola, while DeltaGest Capital strengthens its contribution to sustainable economic development through education, research, and knowledge sharing.
