SanlamAllianz Angola has officially inaugurated a new branch in the city of Lobito, Benguela province, reinforcing the insurer’s expansion strategy and its commitment to bringing insurance services closer to clients across the country.
The new unit is also intended to contribute to the economic and social development of one of Angola’s most dynamic regions, the company said in a press release issued on Thursday.
Located in one of Angola’s principal economic hubs, the Lobito agency offers a portfolio of life and non-life insurance products targeted at both individual and corporate clients.
According to the insurer, its presence in Lobito will enable faster, more personalised and more efficient responses to clients’ protection and risk management needs.
The company highlighted that the opening of the branch also represents a direct contribution to the local economy, with the creation of four direct jobs and the strengthening of ties with the business community of Benguela province.
The new premises also incorporate a Training Centre, designed to promote skills development among local talent and to support the broader economic and social development of Benguela.
The inauguration ceremony was marked by a ribbon-cutting performed by the Municipal Administrator of Lobito, Carlos Pacatolo, and brought together representatives of the business community and institutional partners from the region, including members of the Benguela Business Alliance, the Benguela Road Haulage Industry Association and several private companies.
During the event, SanlamAllianz Angola underscored that the new agency represents more than the opening of a physical space — it reflects the company’s vision of being present where its clients live, work and conduct their business, thereby contributing to the sustainable growth of local communities.
The insurer further noted that Benguela holds significant economic importance and strong growth potential, which is why it intends to deepen its engagement with families, entrepreneurs and businesses across the province by offering insurance solutions tailored to their specific needs.
