Xiaomi has recently announced the launch of the Mijia Instant Hot Water Purifier 1200G, a smart faucet capable of purifying and instantly heating water to temperatures of up to 95°C.
The new product follows the footsteps of the well-known Water Purifier 1200G, launched in 2024, and offers the unique feature of instant water heating. The system consists of two modules installed under the sink: one responsible for purification and the other for heating the water.
According to Tudo Celular, the unit includes PPC and RO filters to keep the water clean, backed by a 5-year warranty on the components. Xiaomi also claims the filters can remove 99.9% of heavy metals and certain types of bacteria, ensuring safe consumption.
The faucet has a more sophisticated design, featuring a magnetic button on top that allows users to switch between room temperature and hot water. Regarding the heating function, Xiaomi allows adjustments up to 95°C, with a hot water flow rate of 1000 ml/min. For cold water, the flow rate reaches 3.18 L/min, more than triple that amount.
Additionally, the device features a display showing real-time usage data and metrics. However, users can also control the faucet via the HyperOS Connect app, allowing adjustments to water volume and other functionalities.
The Xiaomi Mijia Instant Hot Water Purifier 1200G is currently being sold in China for 3,999 yuan (around 35,100 meticais). So far, there is no information regarding a global release.
