Garmin recently unveiled the CIRQA Smart Band, its first smart band focused exclusively on health and fitness. The device features a “discreet” display and is less reliant on constant notifications, while ensuring continuous monitoring of health metrics.
With a minimalist design, the band features a fiber-reinforced polymer module, a single physical button for control, and ComfortFit fabric straps. The lack of a screen reduces power consumption, providing up to ten days of battery life on a single charge.
The CIRQA Smart Band is equipped with the Garmin Elevate Gen 4 heart rate sensor, a blood oxygen (Pulse Ox) sensor, an accelerometer, and a skin temperature sensor. Notable features include advanced sleep tracking—including naps and sleep quality scores—the Body Battery system, stress tracking, heart rate variability, menstrual cycle tracking, and ovulation estimates.
The wristband also supports over 80 physical activity profiles, automatic exercise detection, maximum oxygen consumption (VO2 Max) estimates, and GPS connectivity via smartphone. Additionally, it integrates with the Garmin Connect platform, with no subscriptions or additional payments required to access key features.
The device is also certified as water-resistant to 5 ATM, allowing it to be used during water activities, including swimming. The CIRQA Smart Band is now available on Garmin’s official website for $199.90.
Garmin’s new product aligns with a growing trend in the wearable device market, which aims to offer advanced health monitoring without the distractions associated with traditional smartwatches.
