A group of three students from the Computer Science and Management course at the Kitona Polytechnic Institute, in the municipality of Soyo, Zaire province, has developed a digital (web) platform aimed at promoting the socio-economic activities of this region.
The website provides a wide range of static information about the municipality of Soyo, with plans to evolve into a more dynamic and interactive portal in the future.
According to the group’s spokesperson, Paulo António Cabidi, who spoke to the press this Saturday, the creation of the platform aims to contribute to local development.
The website gathers information on the municipality’s potential in sectors such as hydrocarbons, tourism, industry, hospitality, commerce, and other services.
The official launch on social media is scheduled for next July.
The Kitona Polytechnic Institute has been operating since 2017 and offers courses in mechanical maintenance, management IT, nursing, clinical analysis, civil construction, and public works.
