Internet Technologies Angola (ITA), S.A. has officially announced the inauguration of its second Power Plant, which, according to the company, represents a strategic investment reinforcing its commitment to operational excellence, service continuity, and reliability for all its clients.
According to a statement released on Monday, 23rd, to E&M, the plant was designed with cutting-edge technology and redundant capacity to ensure stable and uninterrupted energy supply to its Connectivity, Datacenter, and Cloud services.
Furthermore, the note highlights that the facility was developed to minimize the risk of service disruptions and guarantee continuous operations, even during public grid instability.
With a size of 1,000 m² and an installed capacity of 1.6 MW, the Power Plant, located at the company’s headquarters, offers three days of energy autonomy without needing external power, features an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) for instant transition between power sources, and real-time monitoring systems.
Quoted in the release, Francisco Pinto Leite, ITA’s General Manager, stated that this investment is a strategic step in strengthening critical infrastructure, further emphasizing that beyond ensuring operational resilience, the company is significantly enhancing the quality of services delivered to its customers.
“We thus reinforce our commitment to robust, reliable, and sustainable technological solutions, aligned with Angola’s digital future,” added Francisco Pinto Leite.
