Through this initiative, INAPEM aims to promote the formalization of creative ventures, facilitate access to business support services, and foster business opportunities. The National Institute for Support to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (INAPEM) recently launched, in Luanda, the RECRIA – Angola Creative Network project to stimulate the country’s creative economy by supporting sectors such as art, design, fashion, music, audiovisual, and multimedia.
According to a statement, the launch was symbolically marked by the participation of INAPEM’s Chairman of the Board, Bráulio Augusto, at the 4th edition of the Festival das Bandas, organized by Prova D’Art, which took place at the organization’s venue in Miramar, Luanda.
RECRIA, according to INAPEM, was created to support projects, ideas, and activities linked to the cultural and creative sectors, recognized for their strong employment potential, especially among youth and women.
“However, many of these initiatives still operate informally, limiting their growth and sustainability. Concerned about this reality, INAPEM positions itself as an agent of social and economic transformation,” the statement reads.
Through this project, INAPEM seeks to promote the formalization of creative enterprises, facilitate access to business support services, and encourage business opportunities.
RECRIA aims to create real impact in communities, boost creative entrepreneurship, and contribute to the creation of sustainable and dignified jobs.
“The main goal of the initiative is to support creative entrepreneurs throughout their entire lifecycle, by providing technical and training support. The aim is to build an ecosystem conducive to the growth and competitiveness of creative enterprises, both locally and internationally, while fostering innovation and inclusive economic development,” INAPEM states.
Among the main benefits offered by RECRIA are professional training and skills development, support for the creation and legalization of creative businesses, access to financing and credit, mentoring and specialized consultancy, promotion, networking, and the development of creative innovation projects.
