Entrepreneur Academy Invests Over 200 Million Kwanzas for Youth Fair

The new management of the Luanda Entrepreneur Academy has already invested over 200 million kwanzas to hold the first edition of the Youth Entrepreneurship Fair, which will take place from April 24 to 27.

The information was shared yesterday by the new director of the Luanda Entrepreneur Academy, Nilza Sardinha, during a press conference. The new representative for the entrepreneurship training center explained that the purpose of the first edition of the Entrepreneurship Fair is to promote youth business initiatives in Luanda.

The event, which is expected to have more than 100 entrepreneurs participating, aims to boost investments from various young people and encourage new business opportunities through partnerships with large companies. According to Nilza Sardinha, the Luanda Entrepreneur Academy’s concern during the event is to support new businesses, drive investments, and enable these entrepreneurs to connect with established companies.

In terms of preparation, the youth fair is 70% complete. The director of the Luanda Entrepreneur Academy mentioned that the event is an initiative of the Provincial Government of Luanda (GPL) and will be held under the theme “Youth, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation.” She highlighted that the youth entrepreneurship fair will also serve as a tool for strengthening the image and capacity-building of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Luanda.

“The Entrepreneurship Fair aims to establish itself as a tool for enhancing the image of small entrepreneurs by forming partnerships with institutions interested in developing entrepreneurship in Angola,” she stated.

To help participants grow, the fair will also feature lectures delivered by national professionals.

State entities will also participate in the event to support various youth initiatives. Being held for the first time this year, the fair aims to become an annual event, also marking the beginning of the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of independence, with different cultural moments scheduled to celebrate the occasion.

As for the exhibitions, participants will showcase investments ranging from gastronomy, technology, innovation, agribusiness, and more. The event will welcome all types of initiatives, as applications are open to all kinds of economic ventures.
