The President of the Angola–Mozambique Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIAM), Célia Cipriano, stated that Angolan companies operating in Mozambique are primarily active in the oil, energy, logistics, and agro-industry sectors. Trade between Angola and Mozambique reached a modest value of approximately 10 million US dollars in 2024, according to CCIAM.
Célia Cipriano explained that the presence of Mozambican companies in Angola is still relatively limited but is growing, especially in light of strengthened bilateral relations.
“At present,” she noted, “we have 38 bilateral agreements, which are fundamental to advancing both Angola and Mozambique. These agreements facilitate business and bilateral trade.”
Cipriano also highlighted that the visit of Daniel Chapo to Luanda is expected to promote new opportunities and key partnerships in sectors such as agriculture, tourism, industry, and vocational training.
