Following the completion of the first of six procedural phases of the Replica project, which involved mobilizing, raising awareness, and registering stakeholders in the national entrepreneurship sector, the National Institute for the Support of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (INAPEM) will launch the second phase, focused on training and capacity building. By 2027, the year the program is expected to be fully implemented, approximately 7,000 direct jobs and 14,000 indirect jobs are projected, said Jorge Manuel, project coordinator, in a recent interview with OPAÍS.

Currently, data from registrations on the Replica website indicate a total of 8,233 initiatives registered nationwide, with Luanda province accounting for the highest number of sign-ups.
The six-month training phase is expected to begin in the first weeks of March 2026, at locations to be determined by INAPEM’s provincial departments across the 21 provinces. According to the coordinator, the main goal of this training is to develop general technical skills among franchisors (brand or service owners) and potential franchisees (investors) through a comprehensive mapping process.
The phase also aims to identify certain brands as potential franchises for the Angolan market, strengthening them to survive in the business sector and, in doing so, create more employment opportunities for young people in the country.
