The Head of State, João Lourenço, announced on Monday that a meeting will be held this month in Rome, Italy, with the Italian Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, and the President of the European Commission, Ursula Von Der Leyen, to mobilize financial resources for the Lobito Corridor within the framework of the so-called Mattei Plan.
The President of the Republic, speaking in an interview with Angola’s Public Television, emphasized that the railway projects in the country have attracted interest especially from the Western world, Europe, and the United States of America.
