The National Assembly will hold the final general vote on the Draft Law approving the General State Budget (OGE) for the 2026 fiscal year on Monday, the 15th, according to a note from the institution received today by ANGOP.
According to the note, the Joint Opinion Report on the country’s main management instrument was approved in detail last Thursday, the 11th.
In addition to findings, the legislative document includes over 50 recommendations, focusing on improving public spending, ensuring transparency in resource allocation, diversifying the economy, and controlling public debt.
For 2026, the OGE estimates revenues and sets expenditures at approximately 33.2 trillion kwanzas, representing a 4.7 percent reduction compared to the 2025 budget.
Another Plenary Session
Also on Monday, a second plenary session will take place, considering, among other items, three requests for legislative authorization submitted by the President of the Republic in his capacity as Head of the Executive Power.
The requests concern the legal framework for industrial development hubs, the legal framework for rural industrial parks, and amendments to Annexes A and B of the Block 14 concession area.
The Plenary will also review, in general, two environmentally significant draft laws: one establishing the Serra do Pingano conservation area and another creating the Morro do Moco national conservation area.
As part of parliamentary activities, the National Assembly will hold its end-of-year greeting ceremony on Wednesday, the 17th, marking the conclusion of the 2025 institutional calendar.
