Express transfers have increased from 100,000 to 250,000 kwanzas per transaction. Daily sending and receiving can now reach up to 500,000 kwanzas. The monthly limit per card is set at 3 million kwanzas, according to the Interbank Services Company (EMIS).
In a statement accessed by O País, EMIS—the entity responsible for managing the Multicaixa network—said the increase in Express transfer limits aims to meet growing user needs and facilitate daily transactions.
Greater Flexibility and Convenience for Users
According to the note, the measure is part of a series of innovative changes designed to accelerate and simplify users’ daily lives. “The Express Transfer limits have been expanded, offering greater flexibility and convenience in transactions.”
Per transaction, each card now has a maximum limit of 250,000 kwanzas. On a daily basis, the maximum sending and receiving limit is 500,000 kwanzas. For monthly receipts, each card now has a maximum limit of 3,000,000 kwanzas.
