The services for conducting the research will be contracted through a Limited Tender by Prior Qualification, as determined by the President of the Republic.
The Angolan government will allocate $2.5 million (around 2.29 billion kwanzas) to hire specialized services for a study on the competitiveness of Angola’s mineral resources sector.
The decision is outlined in Presidential Order No. 124/26, dated April 14, in which President João Lourenço links the initiative to the need to improve the business environment and strengthen Angola’s position in the international mineral resources market.
According to the document accessed by Economia & Mercado, the services will be contracted through a Limited Tender by Prior Qualification. The process will be led by the Minister of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas, Diamantino Azevedo, under delegated authority from the President of the Republic.
