Industrial production in Angola grew by 1.14% in November 2025 compared to October, according to data released by the National Institute of Statistics (INE).
Despite the growth, the result represents a decline of 4.26 percentage points compared to the previous month.
The Manufacturing Industry was the sector with the highest growth during the period, increasing by 12.26%, while the Water Supply, Treatment, and Sanitation sector recorded a drop of 5.46%, representing the worst performance of the month. The data also indicate that the Manufacturing Industry contributed the most to the variation in the Industrial Production Index, with 3.58 percentage points, followed by Electricity, Gas, and Steam Production and Distribution, contributing 0.28 percentage points.
In year-on-year terms, industrial production increased by 15.31% compared to November 2024, driven mainly by the Manufacturing Industry. For the year-to-date, the industrial sector recorded a positive variation of 20.76% up to November 2025.
