Academia BAI and Porto Business School (PBS), the business school of the University of Porto, formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding last Wednesday, July 10, aimed at strengthening workforce qualifications and accelerating the development of leadership and management skills in Angola through the creation of joint executive education programmes.
According to a statement sent today to Jornal OPAÍS, the agreement establishes a framework for cooperation in the design and implementation of training initiatives in areas that are critical to organisational competitiveness, including leadership, digital transformation, strategic management and innovation. The partnership is based on the principles of shared value creation, collaborative learning and institutional complementarity.
The statement further notes that, under the partnership, faculty members and specialists from Porto Business School are expected to participate in programmes promoted by Academia Executive Education, the business school of Academia BAI.
The collaboration comes at a time of increasing pressure on both public and private organisations, driven by the need to adapt to digital transformation, the globalisation of markets and the demand for more agile and sustainable management models.
