Huíla Companies Gain Access to Nossa Agro Pension Fund

NOSSA Seguros and the Huíla Commercial and Industrial Agro-Livestock Association (APPCIL) have signed a memorandum granting member companies and cooperatives privileged access to the Nossa Agro Pension Fund.

The event took place in Lubango and was attended by the Governor of Huíla Province, Eng. Nuno Mahapi Dala, as well as representatives of associated companies and clients.

Signed on the second day of Expo Huíla 2025, the region’s largest business fair, the agreement covers 712 companies, giving them access to the NOSSA Pension Fund through APPCIL-affiliated agricultural cooperatives and businesses. The fund serves as a complementary savings and investment tool alongside the Social Security system.

The product allows contributions starting at 5,000 Kwanzas per month, with flexible payments, regular investment monitoring via the NOSSA Seguros mobile app, and support from a specialized team.

The fund provides benefits in cases such as retirement, early retirement, proven disability, and, in the event of the insured’s death, payment of the accumulated amount to legal heirs or designated beneficiaries. Participants also receive, at no extra cost, a Family Support Insurance policy covering funeral expenses for one year.

For APPCIL, the memorandum creates accessible and structured conditions for members and employees to plan for retirement. “Agro plus technology equals a guaranteed future. The country’s future is in agriculture,” said the association’s president, Paulo Gaspar.

For NOSSA Seguros, the protocol reflects a commitment to providing regulated savings and protection solutions. “The fund offers stability for families, security for communities, and greater social cohesion. Accessible and flexible contributions empower individuals to plan their future with dignity and give companies the opportunity to value their employees,” said NOSSA Seguros administrator Marcelo Perdigão during the signing ceremony.
