CAP Capital Acquires Angolan Company TSMARTS and Announces a €50 Million Investment in the Country

The investment holding company, with a consolidated presence in the United Kingdom and Spain, ensures that this investment will serve to modernise maintenance and engineering services, expand TSMARTS’ operational presence across all provinces, strengthen technical and logistical capacity, promote the creation of qualified jobs, and develop new business areas in the electrical, technological, and industrial sectors.

The British technology company CAP Capital is now the owner of 100% of the share capital of the Angolan company TSMARTS – Telecommunications and Engineering, and has established a €50 million investment plan (around Kz 53.4 billion) for the next three years as part of its new venture in the Angolan market, the company announced in a statement this week.

This investment will be used to modernise maintenance and engineering services, expand TSMARTS’ operational presence in all provinces, reinforce technical and logistical capacity, promote the creation of qualified employment, and develop new business areas in the electrical, technological, and industrial sectors.

With the acquisition of the Angolan company, which has experience in operating, maintaining, and developing telecommunications infrastructure throughout the country, CAP Capital states that it is “committed to the economic, social, and technological development of Angola, contributing to competitiveness, efficiency, and sustainability.”

“Angola is a strategic country for our group and we strongly believe in its development potential. TSMARTS is an Angolan company with enormous technical and human capacity, and our goal is to transform it into one of the country’s largest infrastructure operators. Our commitment is clear: to invest, train talent, create jobs, and actively contribute to the advancement of major national infrastructure.”

The company also states that this new phase includes TEALT Academy, CAP Capital group’s training centre, specialised in working at heights, industrial safety, and maintenance of telecommunications and energy infrastructure. The academy will guarantee continuous training of professionals aligned with international standards, strengthening TSMARTS’ execution capacity, operational safety, and scalability.
