Banco de Fomento Angola (BFA) recorded a net profit of 205.8 billion kwanzas in 2024, representing a 22.9% increase compared to 2023. The bank also saw its client base grow by 11.6%.
In total, the institution reached 3,199,554 clients last year and expanded its network to 194 branches with the opening of one new location. The network includes Agencies, Corporate Centers, Investment Centers, and Private Banking units.
These details are part of BFA’s 2024 Annual Report, recently published on the company’s website. The volume of deposits also grew by 5.6% compared to the previous period, reaching a total of 3.02 trillion kwanzas.
Throughout 2024, BFA slightly reduced its workforce to 2,580 employees — a decrease of 81 staff members compared to 2023.
