Angola Oil & Gas Sees 20% Increase in Company Participation

The 78 companies registered for the Angola Oil & Gas 2025 exhibition represent a 20% increase compared to 2024, according to recent statements made to the press by the Managing Director of Energy Capital & Power.

Luís Conde also announced that this year’s edition is expected to attract 4,000 delegates, with over 3,000 participants already registered.

The 6th edition of Angola Oil & Gas – AOG 2025 will take place on September 3rd and 4th at the Talatona Convention Center in Luanda. This year, the event takes on special symbolic importance, as it is integrated into the celebrations of Angola’s 50 years of independence.

“This year is truly special. The conference is part of the national celebrations, giving it a strong symbolic weight. We will honor the past while keeping our eyes on the future of the sector,” said Luís Conde, Conference Director, during a press session.

The organizers highlighted that the event program has been expanded with more technical sessions, panel discussions, and networking spaces, along with promotional pricing to increase public access.

Among the most important institutional moments are the opening and closing ceremonies, tributes to historic figures of the sector, and strategic announcements from market operators. The confirmed presence of the President of the Republic at the opening ceremony further underscores the national relevance of the event.

This year’s edition also stands out for its strong international presence, with, for the first time, the CEOs of BP and Eni attending together in Angola, highlighting the growing prestige of the conference. Journalists from CNBC, Namibia, and South Africa are also expected.

According to Luís Conde, “The continued success of the Angola Oil & Gas Conference is due to the joint efforts of the Government, companies, and international partners. Today, the conference is a benchmark in Africa because it showcases a modern, stable Angola that is open to investment.”

The organization invites all professionals and stakeholders in the energy sector—as well as anyone seeking new business opportunities—to attend the conference. Registration is simple and can be completed through the official website, with several participation options available.
