Angola’s national carrier TAAG – Linhas Aéreas de Angola is showcasing innovative cargo transport solutions at the 41st edition of the International Fair of Angola (FILDA 2026), covering routes to Africa, Europe, the Americas and Asia.
In a statement issued on Thursday, TAAG said the initiative is designed to expand its capacity to meet the demands of the global market and to support the growth of international trade, tourism and business mobility.
The airline’s presence at FILDA 2026 represents an opportunity to deepen relationships with clients, institutional partners, investors and business operators, reinforcing its positioning as a strategic intercontinental hub.
Economic operators attending the fair will have the chance to learn about the latest milestones in TAAG’s commercial and operational strategy, including the introduction of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner on the Luanda–Lisbon route, enhanced connectivity with China, and Angola’s growing role as a transcontinental transit platform.
FILDA 2026, which opened on Tuesday at the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) facilities in Icolo e Bengo, features a dedicated TAAG pavilion designed to deliver an interactive, technology-driven experience. Visitors can explore the airline’s destination network through an interactive digital display unit.
The stand also offers simulated travel experiences and multimedia content covering TAAG’s operations, fleet and in-flight experience, as well as a digital customer-service tool that the airline says reinforces its commitment to service excellence.
The third day of the fair — billed as Angola’s largest business forum — is set to feature visits by senior dignitaries, business conferences for attendees and the wider corporate community, alongside other attractions.
Running until 26 July, FILDA 2026 is held under the theme ‘Produce and Innovate Locally, Win Globally’ and brings together 2,348 national and international exhibitors.
